BLT sandwich

Bacon, lettuce and tomato is a favourite sandwich for many. In this variation, created by the French 2 Michelin starred chef Jean-François Piège, Boursin® Professional Original Garlic & Fine Herbs is added to the three main ingredients to add some creaminess to the taste while retaining a controlled calorie intake.

  1. Toast the slices of wholegrain bread on both sides.
  2. Spread the Boursin® Professional Original on one side of each of the two slices.
  3. Cut the tomatoes into slices.
  4. Brown the bacon in the oven for 3 minutes at 220°C, or until it becomes crisp. Sponge up any excess fat.
  5. To assemble the BLT, arrange the lettuce leaves on the Boursin® Professional Original, add the tomato slices, salt and pepper. Add the bacon rashers on top. Finish with the second slice of bread.
  6. Cut the sandwich in half and serve it on a plate, or in a sandwich bag if it’s to be taken away.
