Bacon, lettuce and tomato is a favourite sandwich for many. In this variation, created by the French 2 Michelin starred chef Jean-François Piège, Boursin® Professional Original Garlic & Fine Herbs is added to the three main ingredients to add some creaminess to the taste while retaining a controlled calorie intake.

Ingredients
- 4 slices of wholegrain bread
- 140 g Boursin® Professional Original Garlic & Fine Herbs
- 2 vine tomatoes
- 8 rashers of bacon
- 6 lettuce leaves
- salt and pepper
Preparation
- Toast the slices of wholegrain bread on both sides.
- Spread the Boursin® Professional Original on one side of each of the two slices.
- Cut the tomatoes into slices.
- Brown the bacon in the oven for 3 minutes at 220°C, or until it becomes crisp. Sponge up any excess fat.
- To assemble the BLT, arrange the lettuce leaves on the Boursin® Professional Original, add the tomato slices, salt and pepper. Add the bacon rashers on top. Finish with the second slice of bread.
- Cut the sandwich in half and serve it on a plate, or in a sandwich bag if it’s to be taken away.
